Lord Dr. Masaaki Ikawa
Chief Executive Officer, Ph. D., CIF, and Lord of Gages Bridge of EnglandLord Dr. Masaaki Ikawa directs all of Global Gateway Communications, Inc.'s strategic and operational activities.
Dr. Ikawa is currently Chairman and President of Asia United Nations Development Authority, Inc. (AUNDA), a group of six companies specializing in technology, trading, finance, and real estate development in the Japanese and other Asian markets. His experience in international business and finance has enabled Dr. Ikawa to build AUNDA into a significant regional enterprise. AUNDA will soon join the United Nations Fund for International Partnerships (UNFIP), an organization that facilitates cooperative partnerships between United Nations entities and the private sector.
Dr. Ikawa received his undergraduate degree from Waseda University in 1950, his Master's in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1957, and his Doctorate in Business Administration from Oxford University in 1962.
Piero Simeone, Ph.D.
PresidentPiero Simeone has played a key role in founding and developing Global Gateway Communications, Inc. in the United States. He has extensive experience in multiple fields of finance and economics, including international finance, banking, and angel and venture capital investing. Dr. Simeone's background includes international project management, private development, and international trade.
Dr. Simeone has spent 28 years working with international business leaders, government officials, and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in 32 countries across Europe, Asia, and North America. He is fluent in English, Italian, French, Spanish, and Thai.
Dr. Simeone received his doctorate in international economics from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva.
Nobuo Ikawa
Vice President, Managing DirectorNobuo Ikawa plays a central role in managing both Global Gateway Communications, Inc. and AUNDA Group in North America. He is responsible for establishing and developing Global Gateway Communications, Inc.'s presence in the U.S. market. Mr. Ikawa's extensive international business experience includes working with Swiss companies and AUNDA to identify opportunities in emerging marketplaces. He has also performed work in the education sector, including the Australian government's TAFE program, and as Business Development Executive for Le Cordon Bleu in Japan. Mr. Ikawa's sector expertise includes information technology, health technology, international trade, the hospitality industry, and emerging market business development. Mr. Ikawa received his Master's in Business Administration from the University of Canberra in Australia.
John Giordani
Director of Information TechnologyJohn Giordani plays a central role in developing and commercializing Global Gateway Communications, Inc.'s technologies in the U.S. As founder and president of PMM Technologies, Inc., Mr. Giordani has managed a number of complex information technology projects in the financial services and other industries. He was project manager for JP Morgan Chase's U.S. Trust Outsourcing Repatriation Project. That project involved single point of contact and line of business matrix management for 14 distinct projects, as well as managing and troubleshooting telecommunications systems with network control centers in Europe, Australia, and Asia on a 24/7 basis. In addition, Mr. Giordani was responsible for the management, troubleshooting, and design improvements and statistical reporting for an NT/Novell/IBM CISCO routed global network. Previously, as project manager for Chase's U.S. Trust Outsourcing Support project, he was responsible for redesigning and implementing the IBM 3090/CICS, RS/6000 Fedwire funds transfer interface.
Mr. Giordani served in the Italian Air Force from 1987-1993, where he was honored with the Officer's Cross with Swords of the Military Order of St. John, Jerusalem and Rhodes, as well as a Gold Medal of the Order of St. Maurice. Among his duties in the Italian Air Force were the design, development and implementation of the telecommunication program software.
Mr. Giordani earned his BSIT Software Systems Engineering from Francesco Baracca Aeronautical University, Viterbo, Italy. He also holds a business degree from A. Farnese College of Business in Rome.
